ecosystemz

Customize different species and watch them grow and interact with their environment in this pixel-based ecosystem simulator. Enjoy the abstract sight as seasons change, populations wax and wane, and genes mix and mutate.

Explore a series of generated landscapes taking place in a "city in the cliffs", each one completely unique. Press the right arrow key to speed up your forward movement.

A Novel, or Something

This program generates a 50,000+ word novel, each one starring a different wacky character and their equally wacky pet. Although there are only about 10 unique chapters, each generated version is completely unique.

This can take a long time to load. If it's too slow for you, you can also look at this pre-generated pdf: Read
It will tell you you don't have access, but you do. Click "open the document directly."

DO IT

This concrete poem uses HTML to creatively display the words from "The Cult of Done Manifesto" by Bre Pettis and Kio Stark. Click on the last "DO IT" for a surprise!

Foraging Guide

Tired of the same old plant names? Want some fictional plants for a fictional world? This program generates a list of randomly named plants based on real plant names and tells you which ones should be avoided.

Looking at you, Zach Whalen. Don't lick every plant you come across.
